Farbror v. Troll
You know the reason for why you fear bridges, gaps, breaks of any kind that appear seemingly passable. The worry is never from the uncertainty of what lies beyond them, or that they may fall under your feet, but from what lies beneath them. Fear that what lay underneath overhanging crossings may one day come up.
Dynamesh <3
I worked on this last night starting from a Sphere with the newest release of Zbrush R2. Dynamesh rules.

The Witch

Roleplaying games are so fun, try them if you haven’t.

During the middle of a news broadcast sometime during the 1920′s, newscaster Joe Valentine is caught in a rift and somehow pulled into a television broadcast. Years later the man emerges when a boy and his dog find a flickering television in an abandoned set and accidentally release him back into this world. Living his life as a semi-tangible television signal forever in the same state. Not sleeping, never eating and stuck in the memory of what once was. What will become of this man?
A break from rigging.

Tried out MS Paint tonight.

Wallace Arm Test
Fixed below!
Here is a character I’ve been working on to practice mechanical rigging with. He has metal arms that elongate via a spring in the middle. The main challenge I faced was figuring out how to get the spring to be connected to the arm’s stretch, but starting at an offset position, and having the bands in the arm follow appropriately without any deformation.
I will upload more tests as I figure out the other mechanics in his arm including his forearm, hands, and the gears which will “drive” his shoulder rotations.
